At the beginning of the 19th century the four star hotel Hotel Neuhaus of today was used as a mill. In 1928 the building was converted into a Gastronomy business, run by the Breitfuss family in the first generation – the foundation of the successful family business of today was laid.
Neuhaus Hotel Saalbach: 1952 – 2010
In 1952 the popular restaurant was expanded by the addition of a guesthouse. In 1974 the guesthouse was converted into a hotel with 30 rooms, which was further expanded in 1976 due to the great demand. The indoor swimming pool and underground car park were built in the same year. Ever since the popular hotel has been continuously expanded and modernised. The next big project is the new restyling of the wellness & spa area of the Hotel Neuhaus in Saalbach, which will be finished at the beginning of the summer holiday season 2010.
